Welded Plate Heat Exchanger-WPHE
A welded plate heat exchanger (WPHE) is a type of heat exchanger that uses a series of corrugated metal plates welded together by laser or argon arc welding. The plates are connected with molding strips, and there are no gaskets between the plates, making it suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure applications. WPHEs are divided into several types, including non-detachable fully welded, 2-sided detachable fully welded, 4-sided detachable fully welded (HFM bloc), and wide channel fully welded plate heat exchangers.
Unlike gasketed plate heat exchangers, WPHEs do not use gaskets or seals between the plates, making them suitable for applications where leakage is a concern.
The Welded Plate Heat Exchanger is a versatile and efficient solution for industrial heat transfer needs. Its compact design, high performance, and reliability make it a preferred choice for applications requiring high temperature and pressure resistance.
